Homemade Greenies (matcha brownies)

EN

Firstly to all my North American readers happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all are having great people with great food around you.

Today's recipe was supposedly meant to be released before Thanksgiving with the idea for people to make it for the Thanksgiving holiday itself. But since my country does not celebrate Thanksgiving and I thought the Thanksgiving date was this upcoming weekend (which is not) I totally missed boat. But luckily there are more holidays to come where this matcha flavoured brownies or 'greenies' as I'd like to call them myself are a great addition to any feast table as well! I hope you'll try them out.

The Ingredients
150 gr white chocolate
140 gr butter
180 (200 for sweeter taste) gr sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. matcha powder
85 gr plain flour
All in one bowl
This recipe is simple yet satisfying to make because all you need is just one bowl and all the ingredients goes in here. And you don`t even need a handmixer at all! Hurray for less dish washing great!
Melting white chocolate + butter in au bain marie style. You can also choose to melt it in the microwave.
When everything is melted you continue by adding the sugar. High-5 if you find this sugar packaging (that I got from France) is a cutie as well!
Once it is cooled down
You slice 9 equal, fudgy, matcha slices and make yourself a cup of tea or coffee with it and enjoy!
The Steps
1.Preheat oven to 180°C and line a square baking tin.
2. Place on top of a shimmering pan with hot water a heatproof bowl. Make sure the water is not touching the bottom of the bowl! Place the butter and the white chocolate and melt it in au bain marie style.
3. Once everything is melted remove from the pan and add the sugar. Stir and combine until it is melted. Add the eggs one by one and mix. Then finally add in the flour and matcha powder and combine well.
4. Pour the batter in the prepared baking tin and bake for 30 to 35 min. Let it cool down before slicing it. Enjoy!
